Date of Launching
Egyptian Journal of Forensic Sciences and Applied toxicology (EJFSAT) was launched in 2000, it is a scholarly open-access scientific journal that deals with both forensic Sciences and toxicology and their related specialties. It is published quaternary by the Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology, Kasr Alainy School of Medicine, Cairo University. It delivers an open-access platform for medical investigators to publish their research as it accepts original papers, review articles, systematic review articles, case reports, short communications on an array of respective fields in both forensic science and toxicology, it also promotes scientific communication among medical investigators and researchers.

Articles will be published with their final citation after acceptance, in both fully browsable web form, and as a formatted PDF; the article will then be available through the Egyptian Journal of Forensic Sciences and Applied toxicology.

There are no fees for the journal.
Submitted manuscripts are reviewed initially by the EJFSAT editorial board. Manuscripts are then evaluated according to the following criteria:
